Andijan women receive preferential loans for 792m soums

Executive Committee of the Central Council of UzLiDeP realizes a project “From family entrepreneurship – to firm family”, which helps to increase political, public-political and economic literacy, forming their entrepreneurship skills, providing soft loans to organize their own businesses.

The project, which has been held in 2012, attracted over 62,000 women. The commercial banks issued 800 authors of the business projects received loans for about 9 billion soums, which allowed to create about 4,000 jobs for women. In 2015, it is planned to allocate loans for 6 billion soums.

The regional stage of educational seminar, organized within the project, was held in Andijan region. The event was attended by 80 businesswomen.

The seminar included roundtables dedicated to role of women in developing small businesses, taxation and preferences to family businesses, etc.

The participants were able to improve their business plans and presented to them within the seminar. The authors of the best projects received certificates of commercial banks, which allows them to get soft loans for 792 million soums.
