Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages was established by Presidential resolution.
The Institute is a state higher educational institution with the status of a legal entity and operates within the system of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education.
The training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel with higher education in the field of foreign languages is one of the main activities of the Institute.

The educational process at the Institute starts from the 2022/2023 academic year and students are awarded a qualification in two foreign languages.
Starting from the 2023/2024 academic year, a professional (creative) exam is held in the entrance exams for the areas of undergraduate education of the Institute, aimed at assessing 4 skills (listening and understanding, reading, writing and speaking) in the subject "foreign language" in a complex of subjects. Wherein:
applicants who have a national certificate in the level of knowledge of a foreign language of level B2 and above or an internationally recognized certificate corresponding to it, are awarded the maximum score without an exam in the entrance exams in this subject;
professional (creative) entrance examinations in the subject "foreign language" are held by the State Testing Center under the Cabinet of Ministers;
when entering the specialty of the Institute’s master’s program, the average score of the national certificate in terms of knowledge of a foreign language level C1 or the corresponding internationally recognized certificate and bachelor’s degree is taken into account and no additional exams are held;
teachers who have a national or equivalent internationally recognized certificate of at least C1 level, teaching specialty subjects in a foreign language, may be paid a monthly allowance of 50 percent to the base tariff rate.
From the 2024/2025 academic year, teachers of special disciplines (except for a foreign language) of the Institute must have a national or equivalent internationally recognized certificate of at least level B2.
