Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Employees in Uzbekistan named work-life balance as the most significant factor in finding employment.

In June 2022, the ANCOR recruitment company conducted a study on the criteria for choosing an employer in Uzbekistan. The survey involved 1063 people who answered the question of what is really important to them when choosing a job. The top 3 criteria included work-life balance (98%), good pay (97%), financial stability of companies (97%). However, the significance of factors differs for different generations.

For generation Z (18-24 years old), the most important were work-life balance, learning and development opportunities, and interesting tasks. Generation Y (25-34 years old) is more focused on career opportunities, financial stability and good pay. Generation X (ages 35-54) value financial stability, a pleasant work environment, and work-life balance the most.
