Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 April this year, at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kyrgyzstan, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry under the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan Dentafill Plus LLC and AYU PHARM LLC (part of AYU Holding, Kyrgyzstan).
The document envisages the development of investment cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry. One of the first steps in the implementation of this agreement will be the joint launch of Dentafill Plus LLC and AYU PHARM LLC for the production of surgical latex gloves in Kyrgyzstan.
It is noted that this is only the beginning of a mutually beneficial partnership. In the future, the companies also intend to open the production of medicines in Kyrgyzstan.
Preliminary agreements between the companies were reached in March last year during the state visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov to Uzbekistan. Then the head of state took part in the work of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz business forum. As a result, contracts for US$130 million were signed between the companies of the two countries, including the joint launch of Dentafill Plus LLC and AYU PHARM LLC of pharmaceutical production in the Kyrgyz Republic.
