Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Presidential resolution “On additional measures for state support of organizations belonging to societies of persons with disabilities, as well as the provision of assistance in the employment of persons with disabilities” was adopted.

For products manufactured by legal entities, the only member of which are public associations of persons with disabilities:

the fair is held on a regular basis;

data on the volume and technical parameters of products will be posted on the Electronic Cooperation Portal until 15 November 2022;

Until 1 January 2023, the maintenance of the Unified Register will be organized.

From 1 January 2023, within the framework of public procurement, the relevant organizations purchase goods produced by enterprises entered in the Register on their territory in the amount of at least 10 percent of the volume of the subject of procurement.

During 2022, as an experiment, the activities of the "Center of Opportunities" will be organized in the cities of Nukus and Tashkent, and from 2023 - in other regions.

The Opportunity Center acts as a platform for protecting the rights and legitimate interests of persons with disabilities and promotes professional training for persons with disabilities based on their interests.
