Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On the eve of the International Children’s Day, the SCO Center for Public Diplomacy in Uzbekistan organized an online exhibition of children’s drawings, “The Wonderful World of Colors,” Dunyo news agency reported.
The event is held under the motto "May there always be sky, may there always be sun, may there always be mother, may there always be me!"
Each SCO country presented 10 works of gifted young artists aged 5 to 14 years, who expressed in them an artistic vision of the culture, history, traditions and nature of their countries.
In the selection of drawings, originality, artistic skill and the disclosure of themes were taken into account.
The event is aimed at unleashing creative potential, fostering a sense of patriotism and love for the motherland in children, as well as raising their interest in the fine arts, disseminating the culture, history, traditions and values of the SCO countries.
The exhibition serves as a bridge for the rapprochement of peoples of different countries and is designed to encourage the creative potential of children.
