Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In order to create a large-scale scientific platform aimed at summing up the results of 30 years of activity of the Armed Forces and their further improvement, an international scientific and practical conference was held at the Academy of the Armed Forces on the topic “The Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan - reliable shield of independent Uzbekistan ", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The conference was attended by military attachés accredited in the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of state and public organizations, about 300 specialists from among practitioners of research and educational institutions, faculty of higher military educational institutions of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the conference, lecture materials of specialists in the field x on such topical topics as modern global threats, the development processes of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the development of the country’s higher military education system, innovative approaches to the modern educational system and trends in their improvement, the importance of the training system for highly qualified military personnel, scientific personnel in strengthening the country’s defense capability, promising directions for organizing scientific activities of the council of young scientists, the role of talented youth in the development of innovative activities, trends in improving the scientific and educational process at the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan, priority areas for training highly qualified personnel at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan were discussed.

The information presented during the international scientific and practical conference and the proposals developed during the conference will allow to further study the nature of modern military conflicts, trends in the development of military art, positive experience in reforming the armed forces and expand the knowledge and horizons of military personnel.

At the end of the international scientific and practical conference, its active participants were encouraged by the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
