Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An innovative training center for energy students will be opened at the Tashkent State Technical University (TSTU). The signing of the corresponding agreement took place today, 8 September 2021, between TSTU and the company "Siemens Energetika".

Partnership in the training and education of personnel for the energy sector, including the creation of innovative training centers for these purposes, is provided for by the Memorandum of Understanding, as well as the "Roadmap" for the implementation of joint projects signed between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Siemens Energy in April this year.

Tashkent State Technical University is one of the oldest universities in Uzbekistan. Only at the bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Energy can one get education in such areas as: electricity; electrical engineering, electromechanics, electrotechnology; energy audit, energy inspection of industrial enterprises and alternative energy sources.

Equipping the Faculty of Energy of TSTU with an innovative training center will allow students to master the most modern technologies, including in such topical areas as energy conservation, renewable and hydrogen energy, to discuss and implement their own ideas for the development of domestic energy.
