Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 7 October, an oxygen cylinder exploded in Gulistan (Syrdarya region) on the territory of the Alpomish sports complex at 08:13, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

This facility has been converted to treat people with coronavirus infection. The building of the sports complex was partially damaged.

At these minutes, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, together with other specialized services, are evacuating people from the damaged part of the building.

By this time, it was absolutely certain that there were no casualties. One person was hospitalized with injuries.

The situation is under the full control of the relevant services.
