Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 6 January at 08:10, an explosion of a gas-air mixture occurred in one of the houses located in Otchopar mahalla of Karshi, Kashkadarya region. As a result, the walls of the building collapsed.

The fire and rescue brigade of the regional emergency management department promptly arrived at the scene and carried out search and rescue operations. Unfortunately, as a result of this incident, the bodies of two underage children were recovered from a destroyed house under the rubble.

Officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health and the prosecutor’s office also arrived at the scene.

A preliminary investigation is underway.
