Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 May 2022, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the "Program of research work on the development of technologies for the production, storage and transportation of hydrogen in the field of hydrogen energy", developed by the Ministry of Innovative Development.

According to the program:

An experimental model of a vehicle running on hydrogen using ammonia and hydrogen fuel cells will be developed;

An experimental-pilot device will be created to produce heat and electricity from "green" hydrogen fuel;

Methods will be developed for the development and application of standards, regulations and rules in the field of hydrogen energy. 

It is reported that a total of 1.78 billion soums have been allocated to finance research projects in the field of renewable and hydrogen energy within the framework of 4 projects.
