Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China Jiang Yan.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on current issues of the Uzbek-Chinese agenda.

In particular, the parties highly appreciated the results of the agreements reached with a member of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi during an official visit to Uzbekistan and within the framework of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Special attention was paid to preparations for upcoming joint events, including within the framework of Uzbekistan’s chairmanship in the SCO.

Other issues of mutual interest were also considered during the talks.
