Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A resolution of the President “On the wide celebration of the thirtieth anniversary of the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the state language” was adopted.

In accordance with the resolution, in October of this year, our country will widely celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the state language”.

The resolution approved the composition of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and conduct of this event and the program of mass spiritual and educational events.

The organizing committee has been assigned a number of tasks for the event.

In particular, an essay competition on the Uzbek language will be held among students of secondary schools.

Also, on 21 October, ceremonial festive events dedicated to the thirtieth anniversary of the adoption of the Law on the State Language will be organized in the art palaces of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent.
