Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of the State Committee for Tourism Development, the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection and the State Forestry Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the event, initiated by the khokimiyat of Bostanlyk district.
The goal of the action is to prevent pollution of roads leading to recreation areas, forest areas, water bodies and the environment.
“The Presidential Decree on the introduction of a special management order in Bostanlyk district, first of all, sharply criticized the situation in the region related to the removal and processing of waste. Based on this, the State Committee for Tourism Development, together with the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection, developed a special program. According to it, 11 separate garbage collection points will additionally be created and 10 new vehicles will be provided.
These measures will contribute to the complete cleaning of Bostanlyk district from garbage. At the same time, a separate large landfill is being created for waste collection,” said the khokim of Bostanlyk district, Jurabek Akhmedov.
As noted in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures for the accelerated development of tourism by introducing a special management procedure in Bostanlyk district", despite the fact that the main part of Bostanlyk district is a recreational recreation area, the state associated with waste recycling, environmental protection and natural resources are at an unsatisfactory level.
It should be noted that Bostanlyk district has a large number of recreation areas and country houses, and most of the visiting guests live in the city of Tashkent, in the district and other regions. Some of them do not pay attention to the cleanliness of the environment, dump waste anywhere, avoid concluding an agreement with Toza Hudud, as a result of which the sights and the views around them become unpleasant. Everyone must comply with the rules of ecology, nature protection and waste disposal.
This speaks of respect for oneself and others. Reportedly, those who do not comply with the requirements will be fined by the Ecoinspection in accordance with the Code of Administrative Responsibility for dumping waste by individuals and legal entities in non-designated places.
At present, propaganda work is being carried out in this direction among the population and guests of the region. Garbage cans are placed on the territory of tourist facilities. If everyone himself starts to keep clean, in the future, of course, problems with waste will be eliminated. In this regard, the khokim of Bostanlyk district, Jurabek Akhmedov, addressed the residents and guests of the district: “How will it affect you if your neighbor throws garbage in front of your doors? It will definitely seem uncivilized.
Learning to dispose of waste in designated areas, rather than on the street or along the road, will help vacationers develop a culture of travel while keeping people clean. Therefore, we ask everyone to respect the culture of relaxation. This will not only keep the environment clean, but also become a worthy example for future generations. It will also appeal to tourists visiting the area. "
The environmental campaign in Bostanlyk district will last until the end of 2020.
