Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that on 27 September 2020 at 13:49 Tashkent time, an earthquake occurred in Uzbekistan. 

Coordinates: 40.89 degrees north latitude; 71.76 degrees east longitude. Magnitude M = 2.9. Depth 6 km. Distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 217 km in the southeast direction.
