Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Republican Center for Seismological Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported an earthquake, which occurred on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 2 August 2024, at 10:39 local time (05:39 GMT).

The Epicenter was in Gijduvan district of Bukhara region. Coordinates: 40.42 degrees north latitude; 65.19 degrees east longitude. Magnitude M=4.4.

Depth: 10 km. The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 351 km to the southwest.
