Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Residents of Uzbekistan felt the echoes of the earthquake that occurred in Afghanistan.

According to the Republican Center for Seismic Predictive Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, today, on 5 February 2022, at 09:16 Tashkent time, an earthquake occurred in Afghanistan. 

Earthquake coordinates: 36.32 degrees north latitude; 71.09 degrees East. Magnitude M=6.8. Depth 225 km. The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 573 km in a southeasterly direction.
