An earthquake felt in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 30 March, at around 3:55, a weak earthquake with an epicenter in Tajikistan was felt in the cities of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the epicenter of the earthquake was 360 km south from Tashkent on the territory of Tajikistan. The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was 5.8.

The strength of the tremors in the territory of Tashkent reached 2 points, Samarkand 2 points, Syrdarya 2 points, Fergana 2 points, Namangan 2 points, Andijan 2 points, Djizak 2 points, Kashkadarya 2 points, Surkhandarya 2-3 points.

Information on destruction and injured was not received, the Ministry of Emergencies of Uzbekistan said.
