Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a law “On guarantees of the activities of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

According to the amendment, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has the sign and standard (flag) of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Description of the presidential sign and standard (flag), the order of their official use is determined by the President.

This law shall enter into force on the day of its official publication.

A standard is a flag of a special kind. In foreign countries, the standard (flag) is the presidential sign (symbol). The standard (flag) is raised at all important events with the participation of the President, during the inauguration (taking the oath), as well as on the buildings and in the offices of the President’s residences.

The President’s sign is a distinctive official badge of the President. This sign serves as a sign of the confidence of the people and society in the effective implementation of the complex tasks assigned to the President they have elected. The President’s badge is presented to the person elected to this position upon assuming office after taking the oath, and is kept by the President until the expiration of his constitutional powers.
