Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Ravshan Usmanov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Ireland with residence in London, presented copies of his credentials to Ralph Victory, Chief of Protocol at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland, according to the Dunyo news agency.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on prospects for developing Uzbek-Irish cooperation.

Particular attention was paid to enhancing collaboration in the fields of trade, economy, culture, and tourism. Agriculture, information and communication technologies, pharmaceuticals, and renewable energy were identified as promising areas for further engagement.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Irish side wished the Uzbek ambassador success in his efforts to advance and deepen bilateral relations.

It is worth recalling that Ravshan Usmanov arrived in London on 14 November 2023 as Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom. On 16 May 2024, he presented his credentials to His Majesty King Charles III. In February 2025, he also presented his credentials to Icelandic President Halla Tómasdóttir, becoming Uzbekistan’s first-ever ambassador to Iceland.
