Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Arab Republic of Egypt. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
In accordance with the Resolution of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 8 October 2021, Mansurbek Kilichev was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Kilichev has been in the diplomatic service since 2002. He has extensive experience in the central office of the Ministry and foreign missions of Uzbekistan.
In 2012-2013, he worked as the first secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In 2013-2019, he served as Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Dubai (UAE).
In 2019-2020, he worked as Deputy Director of the Information and Analytical Center for International Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Head of the Consolidated Analytical Department.
In 2020-2021, he was Deputy Director of the Consular and Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
