Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the United States Javlon Vakhabov has been officially accredited as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Federative Republic of Brazil with residence in Washington, D.C.
According to Dunyo IA, the Ambassador presented his credentials to the Vice President of Brazil Hamilton Mourão.
During the talks, the Vice President of Brazil expressed high awareness of the ongoing changes in Uzbekistan and the Central Asian region. Commenting on the process of reforms in Uzbekistan, Hamilton Mourão emphasized that Brazil is closely monitoring the reforms carried out under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and considers them very successful.
Brazil is ready to support Uzbekistan in every possible way in achieving the goals of ensuring the prosperity of the country and the well-being of its people and is fully open to expanding multifaceted cooperation, the Vice President said. He expressed readiness to share Brazil’s experience in agriculture, in particular, technologies for growing soybeans and sugar, as well as in meat production.
