Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Mansurbek Kilichev presented his credentials to the President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

The solemn event was held at the Al-Ittihadiya Palace in the city of Cairo. The ceremony took place after the traditional honors to the sounds of the fanfare of the brass band during the parade of the guard of honor with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, during a brief conversation, President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi confirmed Egypt’s desire to further develop and strengthen friendship and cooperation with Uzbekistan in all areas.
