Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India Dilshod Akhatov yesterday met with the Minister of State for External Affairs of India and Culture Meenakshi Lekhi.

Meenakshi Lekhi expressed her sincere gratitude to the Government of Uzbekistan for the efficient and high-quality organization of her visit to Uzbekistan on 23-27 September 2021.

The importance of signing during the visit the Program of Cultural Exchange between the Governments of Uzbekistan and India for 2021-2025 was noted in terms of building up practical cooperation in this area. Within the framework of this program, it is envisaged to develop close interaction between museums, leading libraries and archives of the two countries, and to conduct various joint events.

The parties also exchanged views on topical issues on the agenda of Uzbek-Indian cooperation and upcoming important bilateral events.
