Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 11 April 2022, Abdulaziz Akkulov, appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the United Arab Emirates by the Decree of the Kengash of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, left Tashkent for Abu Dhabi.

Abdulaziz Akkulov was born in 1985. In 2007 he graduated from the Tashkent State Economic University and received a master’s degree in international tourism management.

He began his career in 2005 at the Uzstandard Agency. From 2006 to 2017, he held various positions at the National Company "Uzbektourism".

In 2017-2020, he worked as the head of department, deputy, first deputy chairman, acting chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In 2021, he served as Deputy Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
