Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Negotiations in the format of video conferencing between the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Benelux countries Dilyor Khakimov and the regional sales director of Vencomatic Group (Netherlands) Paolo Ekonimo were held, Dunyo news agency reported.
The Vencomatic Group was founded in 1983 and today it is one of the leaders in the Dutch market for the production of a complete range of equipment for poultry, intended for breeding all types of poultry. The company has offices in Brazil, China, Spain, Malaysia, France and the USA. The annual turnover is around 100 million euros.
Paolo Ekonimo said that he took part in the mission of Dutch leaders and representatives of agricultural companies to Uzbekistan in March 2019. According to him, during the visit, he was convinced of the significant potential of the poultry industry in Uzbekistan, which demonstrates the rapid pace of development in recent years. “In this regard, Vencomatic Group is interested in entering the Uzbek market with its products,” he said.
Paolo Ekonimo noted that the company is carefully studying the trends and peculiarities of the Uzbek market, as well as the existing business models for managing poultry farms in the country. As he noted, as the necessary information accumulates, the company will make a decision on the strategy of entering the republican market. “We would like to establish interaction with representatives of the public and private sector of Uzbekistan in order to discuss the possibility of cooperation, - said the regional director of Vencomatic Group. “We believe that our technologies could be in demand in the regions of the republic that are interested in turkey breeding, namely in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.”
As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to hold an online meeting in the near future with the involvement of representatives of the relevant ministries and departments, as well as the khokimiyats of the regions of the republic to discuss the prospects for mutual cooperation with an emphasis on technologies for breeding turkey and other types of poultry.
