Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 April 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan Sodik Imomi, who is completing his diplomatic mission in our country. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The Minister highly appreciated the personal contribution of the Ambassador to the progressive development of constructive cooperation between the two countries.

During the conversation, topical issues of the development of Uzbek-Tajik relations of friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership, as well as practical aspects of the implementation of agreements reached within the framework of high-level visits were considered.

Imomi, for his part, thanked for all possible assistance in his work as the head of the diplomatic mission of Tajikistan in Uzbekistan.
