Ambassador of Philippines holds talks at Uzbek MFA

The sides discussed issues of developing the Uzbek- Filipino cooperation, first of all in trade-economic sphere.

Ambassador, who arrived in Tashkent to participate in International investment Forum in Tashkent, underlined interest of Filipino businesses to establish and develop mutual beneficial contacts with the business circles of Uzbekistan.

It was underlined that the countries have significant untapped potential for expanding bilateral trade, diversification of trade, realization of joint investment projects.

At the meeting, the sides also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
