Ambassador of Hungary arrives in Uzbekistan

The Minister received a copy of credentials of the Ambassador and congratulated him on his appointment and the beginning of his work at the Hungarian Embassy in Tashkent.

During the meeting both sides noticed that the opening of the diplomatic mission is considered as an opportunity to steadily and comprehensively implement the existing considerable potential for development of bilateral relations in all spheres of cooperation.

It was stressed that regular Uzbek-Hungarian dialogue at the highest levels is a strong foundation for further strengthening of political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian ties.

The government representatives and business circles of two countries are interested in the intensification of trade-economic and investment cooperation, also within the frameworks of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation meetings.

The sides have also exchanged views on some international and regional issues.
