Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 November 2020, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt Amani al-Itr, who is completing her diplomatic mission in our country.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, in the conversation the sides discussed topical issues of multifaceted Uzbek-Egyptian cooperation, as well as interaction within the framework of international and regional structures.

The parties spoke for the implementation of joint projects in trade, economic, investment, tourism, educational, cultural, humanitarian and other areas.

In conclusion, the Minister noted the fruitful nature of the Ambassador's activities in Uzbekistan and highly appreciated her contribution to the expansion of mutually beneficial bilateral relations.

Amani al-Itr, in turn, thanked the Uzbek side for assistance in her activities as the head of the Egyptian diplomatic mission in Tashkent.
