Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria Nasser Boucherit in connection with the completion of his diplomatic mission.

Welcoming the guest, V. Norov noted the personal contribution of the Ambassador to the strengthening of Uzbek-Algerian relations.

Nasser Boucherit said that during his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan he witnessed large-scale reforms that contributed to the dynamic progress of the republic in all areas.

The parties considered topical issues of Uzbek-Algerian cooperation, the implementation of previously reached agreements and the schedule of upcoming meetings at various levels.

The commitment of the two countries to continue coordinating efforts within the framework of international institutions was reaffirmed.

In conclusion, Nasser Boucherit expressed gratitude to the Uzbek side for all-round support and favorable conditions created for the implementation of his diplomatic activities in the country.
