Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to July 2025, 2.9 million foreign women visited Uzbekistan for tourism, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Women accounted for 45.5 percent of all foreign tourists.

Compared with the same period last year, the number of female tourists increased by 696,700, or 31.9 percent.

The largest number of visitors came from neighboring countries: 959,100 women arrived from Kyrgyzstan (33.3 percent of the total), 781,700 from Kazakhstan (27.2 percent), and 595,500 from Tajikistan (20.7 percent).

From Russia, 246,000 female tourists visited Uzbekistan (8.5 percent), while 295,300 women came from other countries (10.3 percent).
