Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 April 2021, on the second day of vaccination in the republic, 9211 people from Tashkent, Nukus and regional centers were voluntarily vaccinated. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

At the first stage of vaccination, citizens aged 65 and over, as well as medical personnel will be vaccinated.

On 2 April 2021, 3,726 citizens over 65 and 5,485 medical workers were vaccinated.

2,313 people from Tashkent were vaccinated, which is the highest figure in the regions.

The next places for vaccination were taken by Kashkadarya region (1021 people), Andijan region (783 people) and Tashkent region (740 people).
