Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the decree of the President of Uzbekistan dated 27.09. №UP-6075, according to the results of the inventory carried out by the Ministry of Justice, about 2.5 thousand outdated normative legal acts (NLA), leading to an excessive regulatory burden, bureaucratic barriers and obstacles, conflicts in law enforcement practice, have been identified. At the same time, this decree recognized 498 decrees and resolutions of the President of Uzbekistan as invalid in whole or in part.

The decree gave consent to the proposals of the chambers of the Parliament and the Ministry of Justice, providing for:

- the adoption of a new law instead of its new edition with the simultaneous recognition of the current law as invalid by organizing a revision of previously adopted such legislative acts;

- recognition at the end of the corresponding year as invalid the acts of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers aimed at establishing additional non-working days during the celebration of official dates and postponing holidays, as well as organizing events.

Also, the decree established that until 06/01/2021. all current resolutions of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis and the legal acts of khokimiyats are subject to inclusion in the National Database of Legislation.

In turn, the Ministry of Justice was instructed, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, until 01.07.2021. ensure the formation of an open database of information on the requirements of international treaties that are subject to implementation in national legislation, as well as on proposals and recommendations of international organizations.
