Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine Reports 35.35 Trillion Soums in Production for January–September 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — JSC Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AGMK) summarized its performance for January–September 2025, demonstrating solid growth across key production and export indicators.
The total output of commercial products for the nine-month period reached 35.35 trillion soums, achieving 119.9% of forecasted targets. Production of consumer goods amounted to 6.69 billion soums, exceeding the plan by 18%.
Export revenue for the reporting period totaled US$377.8 million, fulfilling 102.4% of the forecast. The main export products included cathode copper (33,111 tons), metallic zinc (17,539 tons), lead concentrate (4,711 tons), copper sulfate (693 tons), zinc sulfate (330 tons), cadmium (6,080 tons), and rare elements such as tellurium (5 tons) and rhenium (0.6 tons).
The company also continued active investment activities: US$650.7 million was allocated over nine months, achieving 100.4% of the planned investment targets. A significant portion of these funds was directed toward modernization and expansion projects.
Production of localized products under 104 projects reached 973.7 billion soums, or 102.4% of the planned goal.
