Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the new "License" system, from 1 January 2021, when licensing tourism activities, certification of tour operators' services is voluntary.

The requirement for documents confirming consent to exchange credit information with at least 10 commercial banks when licensing the activities of credit bureaus is also canceled.

The decree determines that for the conduct of activities carried out by way of notification, documents are submitted through an automated electronic system. The list of such activities will be approved later.

The authorized bodies, according to the document, are prohibited from:

refuse to issue, renew and renew licenses due to debt for public services;

replace licenses and permissive documents for contracts concluded between government agencies and business entities;

directly or indirectly force entrepreneurs to use other types of paid services or obtain unnecessary permits, as well as control them.

All licenses are renewed until 1 January 2021 (if they expire in 2020).

From 1 January 2021, the activities of state unitary enterprises and non-state organizations created by decisions of the president or government are subject to compulsory licensing.

The document also provides for the creation by 1 January 2021 of the information system "License" with a special mobile application. It will include the entire range of licensing services.

Thus, the entire document flow in this area will be digitalized, with the issuance of documents with a QR code. When notifying the authorized body about the start of activities, up to 50% of the basic estimated value must be paid.
