Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - According to the Decree of the President of the country Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the automated system will be developed by the National Agency for the Development of Cinematography, together with the Ministry of Information Technology, the Intellectual Property Agency and the State Tax Committee. By the end of this year, special technical support will be developed, and by August 2022, testing and launch of a new information system will be carried out.
Modern technologies will make it possible to automate the activities of all cinemas in the country, as well as provide reliable operational information about copyright and each ticket sold. From 1 August 2022, showing films in cinemas (cinemas) without connecting to this information system will be regarded as a violation of retail trade rules.
The decree also envisages a systematic continuation of reforms aimed at the development of national cinema, improving the system of state support for this area, introducing effective mechanisms for film production in the country based on world experience, as well as creating a modern infrastructure for the film industry and developing a film distribution system in the country.
