ALFA-BANK Expresses Interest in Cooperation with Uzbekistan’s Leather and Footwear Industry
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A working meeting was held between the Uzcharmsanoat Association and the Foreign Economic Activity Directorate of Russia’s ALFA-BANK.
During the talks, detailed information was presented on the reforms underway in the leather and footwear industry, favorable conditions created for investors, and existing incentives and preferences.
Representatives of ALFA-BANK noted that the bank serves about 1.5 million clients, around five thousand of whom are engaged in leather, footwear, and fur production. They emphasized that demand for Uzbek-made products continues to grow in the Russian market.
The bank expressed its readiness to provide practical support in attracting investors, implementing joint projects, and assisting with customs procedures, certification, and logistics.
Following the meeting, the ALFA-BANK delegation announced its intention to participate in the UzCharmExpo EurAsia 2025 international exhibition to be held in Tashkent.
