Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Uzbekistan plans to introduce new restrictions on the sale of alcohol and tobacco products. The bill on this matter will be considered at a plenary session in parliament.
According to the draft law "On restricting the distribution and use of alcohol and tobacco products", alcohol and tobacco products are prohibited from selling to persons under the age of 21. Previously, the age limit was 20 years.
If the seller doubts the age of the buyer, then he will have the right to demand a document that will certify the age of the client. In the absence of a document, the buyer will be refused sale. In addition, a ban on displaying and displaying alcohol and tobacco products in stores is expected.
