Alain Le Roy holds negotiations in Uzbekistan

Alain Le Roy and Peter Burian held negotiations with the First Deputy Prime Minister and Ministero of Finance Rustam Azimov, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade Shavkat Tulyaganov, the press service of the EU Delegation in Uzbekistan said.

Within the visit the delegation visited the development projects in Uzbekistan, financed by the EU, and held talks with the official organizations and diplomatic missions, accredited in the country.

During the talks, the sides considered issues of the Uzbek-EU cooperation in various areas, including security, agriculture, education, human rights and energy, water resources management and economic cooperation.

Alain Le Roy once again confirmed support of the EU in political, administrative and social-economic reforms in Uzbekistan.
