Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- AKFA University opens Architecture and Design Department and Civil Engineering Department in cooperation with a university from Turkey.

AKFA University and TED University (Turkey) signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of education.

As part of the document, Architecture and Design Department and Civil Engineering Department will be opened at AKFA University.

The Turkish university in accordance with the agreement will provide the AKFA University with educational programs in these areas. Also, TED University will assist in attracting highly qualified professors to Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that students of new departments, along with theory, will study the use of modern software in their work.

For example, students of the Civil Engineering Department will study Visual Basic, C Sharp, Matlab, Autocad Revit, All Plan (BIM), Primavera, MS Project, SAP (Structural), and Navisworks.

The curriculum of the Architecture and Design Department includes modules for the study of such software as All Plan, 3D Max, Autocad Revit, Photoshop, Sketch up and Archicad.

The tuition fee for both departments set at 27 million soums per academic year. Also, some students can receive scholarship.

Both programs are taught in English language. The applicants should provide the IELTS certificate with a score of at least 5 points or TOEFL iBT – at least 50 points or Duolingo English Test – at least 80 points. In both departments, applicants take entrance exams in mathematics.
