Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The management of AKFA University discussed the issues of opening a new department with representatives of the University of Helsinki (Finland).

At the beginning of the meeting, the parties got acquainted with the activities of universities in personnel training. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of partnership to open the Department of Pedagogy at AKFA University.

The Department of Pedagogy, as  expected, will train educators for preschool, public and higher education systems based on the Finnish experience.

It should be underlined that that the Finnish education is one of the best in the world. The country regularly occupies top places in various ratings.

The University of Helsinki is one of the largest and oldest educational institutions in Finland. The University of Helsinki offers various educational programmes. Along with such prestigious institutions as the Universities of Bologna and Coimbra, the University of Helsinki is part of the European Utrecht Network Association. The Times Higher Education ranked the University of Helsinki in 98th place in the world.
