Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- AKFA University became a member of the Association for Dental Education, Asia Pacific (ADEAP).
The Asia Pacific Dental Education Association was formed in October 2018.
The main goal of ADEAP is to unite educational institutions, which train specialists in the field of dentistry, and to develop cooperation between them. The organization also promotes the exchange of scientific information. Today, 16 universities in Asia and the Pacific region are members of ADEAP.
AKFA University became the first member of the ADEAP from Uzbekistan and Central Asia. Also, the ADEAP leadership offered AKFA University to become a representative of the Association in Uzbekistan.
It should be noted that AKFA University opened the Dental School from the 2021-2022 academic year. Now the university is recruiting students. This year, the university plans to accept 100 students to new school.
– The development of international cooperation is one of our priorities. International cooperation will allow our students and professors to receive information on the latest research in the field of dentistry, said Rector of AKFA University Bekhzod Djalilov.
