Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of AKFA University and Atlanticorea held negotiations in the format of video conference to discuss the establishment of cooperation between the parties to attract foreign students to one of the first private universities in Uzbekistan.
The South Korean company Atlanticorea, which also operates under the Meducation brand, specializes in providing student recruitment services to medical universities in Europe. The company also helps students prepare the necessary documents for universities, prepare for studies, etc.
Atlanticorea consultant Justin Kim-Brown noted that the company cooperates with universities from Germany, Hungary and Italy. According to him, the company is helping students prepare for exams and education process at medical universities. Students can prepare for the entrance exams through traditional and online courses.
Justin Kim-Brown emphasized that students from the Republic of Korea, Vietnam, Iran and other Asian countries use the company’s services. He added that some of the company’s clients would be interested in studying at AKFA University.
Atlanticorea is also ready to cooperate with AKFA University in organizing internships for university students in European clinics and establishing cooperation with European universities, in particular, within the framework of the Erasmus program.
The head of the legal department, Iroda Sidikova, spoke about the history of AKFA University and plans to open new faculties, including in the direction of medicine. She noted that the university from the 2021-2022 academic year, in cooperation with Gachon University (Republic of Korea), plans to open faculties of pharmacy, nursing and dentistry.
It was noted that today 23 foreign students are studying at AKFA University, most of them from the Republic of Korea.
The parties discussed the conditions for admitting students from foreign countries and possible conditions for cooperation. The parties intend to discuss all the details of establishing cooperation between the two organizations in an established format.
