Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Kyrgyz airline Air Manas today made its first flight on the Bishkek-Tashkent-Bishkek route after a long break.
On 4 March, at 10:05 local time, an Air Manas plane landed at the Tashkent airport. By tradition, the aircraft was solemnly greeted with a water arch. An hour later, at 11:15, the flight departed on the route Tashkent - Bishkek with 144 passengers on board.
During March, flights will be operated on a charter basis on Mondays and Fridays. With the transition to the summer schedule, Air Manas hopes to switch to regular flights on the Bishkek-Tashkent-Bishkek route. It should be noted that the air carrier did not fly to Uzbekistan for almost two years - flights ceased in 2020 due to the pandemic.
