Air China Receives Permission to Operate Regular Flights to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Air China, the national airline of the People’s Republic of China, has received official authorization to operate regular flights to Uzbekistan.
According to the Uzaviatsiya Agency, the operating permit was granted based on the Intergovernmental Air Services Agreement between the Republic of Uzbekistan and China, signed on 19 April 1994.
Under this authorization, Air China will operate scheduled flights on the routes Beijing–Tashkent–Beijing and Urumqi–Tashkent–Urumqi. The airline plans to use Boeing 737-800/8 (MAX) and Airbus A330-300/200 aircraft for these services.
The launch of these flights is expected to strengthen air connectivity between the two countries, promoting the development of business, tourism, and cultural ties.
