Ahangarancement undergoes ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification

With the audit, the enterprise also complied with internal requirements of Eurocement Group, which owns Ahangarancement. The audit was conducted by SERT Management.

Ahangarancement is a largest producer of cement in Uzbekistan, which has been launched over 50 years ago.

Russia’s Eurocement Group purchased Ahangarancement in 2006. Ahangarancement works on introduction of new technologies and quality management standards.

In 2008, Portland cement, produced at Ahangarancement, received diploma of Uzstandard as the best product of Uzbekistan. In 2009, Eurocement Group awarded a cup to the enterprise as the most profitable division.

In February 2010, the plant underwent certification audit of ISO 9001:2008 quality management system. SERT Management, a leading certification body of Uzbekistan, TÜV International Certification, a German body, handed over certificates to Ahangarancement.
