Eurocement Group said that the enterprise increased shipment of cement to consumers by 3.8% (27,835 tonnes) year-on-year to 754,664 tonnes.
The company said that portland-slag cement (produced - 222,457 tonnes) and portlandcement (produced - 278,587 tonnes) are highly demanded among consumers. Share of these cement in total shipped cement made up 66.4%.
The company also recorded growth of packed cement. In the first quarter of 2013, the company shipped 159,600 tonnes of cement in 50 kg package bags. The growth rate made up 14% year-on-year.
Eurocement Group noted that cement of the company was used at construction of Westminster International University, Academy of Public Administration, International hotel in Tashkent, standard houses, road constructions, etc.
Ahangarancement produced 20,066 cubic meters of concrete products in the first half of 2013, which grew by 98% year-on-year. About 90% of products (18,107 cubic meters) were concrete mixtures.
The company transported 5,438.8 tonnes of overburden soil and mined 786,400 tonnes of limestone, which rose by 32.5% and 16.5% year-on-year respectively.
In March 2013, Ahangarancement received certificates on system of ecologic management on Oz DSt ISO 14001 standard and on system of professional safety and health on Oz DSt OHSAS 18001 standard. Ahangarancement became the first cement company, which received these certificates.
The enterprise carried out work on modernization of equipment. In the first quarter of 2013, it replaced corps of raw mill No. 6, cement mill No. 4 and No. 6, etc. Overall, the company used investments for 2.5 billion soums in the reporting period.
