Ahangarancement claims first place in contest “The best enterprise on organization of labour protection”

World Day for Decent Work annually marked on 7 October in the countries, which are members of International Trade Union Confederation. The day is directed at supporting concept of decent work by the international trade unions, which was developed by International Labour Organization (ILO) based on the UNDP’s Millennium Development Goals.

On 7 October 2013, Council of Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan hosted a roundtable titled “Decent work – bases for decent life”. Representatives of the Uzbek parliament, heads of ministries and departments participated at the event.

Chairperson of the Council of Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva said that Uzbekistan ratified 13 conventions of the ILO and implements complex measures on their execution.

During the roundtable, the results of the contests “The best enterprise on organization of labour protection” were summed up. Ahangarancement received the first place among the enterprises of transport, road and capital construction, as well as construction industry.
