Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Minister of Preschool Education of Uzbekistan Agrippina Shin held a meeting with the First Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Dmitry Glushko.
An official meeting was held at the building of the Ministry of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the initiative of the Russian side.
The Minister of Preschool Education spoke about the reform and transformation of the preschool education system at the initiative of the Head of State of Uzbekistan, mentioning the results achieved over the previous three years.
During the meeting, the Minister highly appreciated the cooperation between the departments of our countries, and also proposed a number of initiatives, including:
- joint development of methods for retraining and advanced training of teaching staff;
- implementation of innovative management;
- study of advanced foreign experience;
- modern approach to alternative methods of education and upbringing;
- development of joint programs and teaching aids in the field of preschool education;
- implementation of programs for the study of the Russian language as a second native language.
She also separately noted the possibility of adopting innovative forms of cooperation between preschool educational institutions and families, tutoring support of children with disabilities in conditions of inclusion, organizing correctional work of speech therapy groups, increasing the competence of teachers in the process of inclusive preschool education, using M. Montessori’s pedagogy in the independent activities of early and preschool age. In addition, the minister mentioned the possibility of developing models of catering in the preschool education system (food processing plant, logistics centers, outsourcing method, improvement of the preschool catering facility).
After Argippina Shin’s opening speech, Dmitry Glushko, First Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, took the floor and thanked the Minister for the warm and cordial welcome.
In his speech, he shared the current state of affairs in the preschool education system in the Russian Federation as a whole, noting the availability of preschool education and the coverage of children from 3 to 7 years old, which reached 99.08%.
The Russian delegation was shown a video of the Aklvoy project, which was developed by the Ministry of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan for children living in remote regions of the country.
